Training Programmes
Rwanda Cooperation’s customised training programmes are developed and facilitated by experts from the repository institutions of Rwanda’s innovative initiatives selected by requesting partners. When necessary, these experts collaborate with expert consultants from the private sector to moderate the trainings.
Rwanda Cooperation customizes training programmes to fit the specific needs of requesting partners. Our trainings often comprise:
Packages offered in Training Programmes
Interactive sessions with industry experts
These sessions provide a pathway for sharing experiences of implementation at all levels of innovative initiatives in the public sector. These sessions vary in nature, ranging from keynotes to panel discussions
Visits to sector-relevant institutions
These visits enable experience sharing on implementation of innovative initiatives in a specific area of interest. Through them, participants gain technical know-how through first hand observation of the innovative policies in action, and they get an opportunity to exchange experience and skills with experts in the area of interest.
Dialogues with present and former senior public servants
Through dialogues with current and past public servants and policymakers, participants in our training programmes have the opportunity to get in-depth insights on the challenges that gave birth to Rwanda’s various innovative policies, and the reforms and strategies that were undertaken to achieve current concrete successes.

“We are very grateful to the Rwanda Cooperation team for the effort and level of organization that was put into making our study visit what it was. It was a privilege to have such an opportunity to benefit from Rwanda’s experience in advancing PFM reforms. The quality of the presentations and discussions was exceptional. We indeed achieved the objectives of the mission, and we truly look forward to a continued collaboration as we strive to strengthen the PFM systems of our countries.”

“We extend our appreciation to the wonderful Rwanda Cooperation team. The logistical and substantive support that they provided to the delegation from Eritrea was a true demonstration of competency and professionalism. They did not spare any effort to share with us Rwanda’s experience and knowledge; and while at it, they made us feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you for your support, we hope to work with you again in the near future.”
Eric Nderitu

“Rwanda Cooperation has really made us comfortable. They coordinated really well what we needed to learn and where we needed to be, and it's quite an eye-opener on how we should also be able to do the same: make sure that inter-agency cooperation is strong.”
Hon. Patricia Kaliati
Minister of Gender, Republic of Malawi
“Rwanda has accorded us a very warm welcome. We’ve seen the strong commitment which you have in developing the nation, and how you are also committed to working with other countries like Malawi. We are thankful, and I’m sure some ministers will be coming too, when we share the lessons with them.”
Saboi Imboela
Chairperson of the National Women in Politics Platform, Republic of Zambia
“The study visit program was shared with us before we got to Rwanda, but I will say that what we learned exceed our expectations. From the field visits, to the tours, to courtesy calls to Parliament; the way Rwanda Cooperation packaged everything was really, really good. On behalf of everyone I came with, I would like to thank Rwanda Cooperation for the wonderful experience of the beauty and hospitality of Rwanda that they gave us.”
